WHAT WE DID
ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
  • The Grosvenor Museum houses collections exploring the history of Chester, its art and silver heritage, and its natural history.
THE CHALLENGE
  • The Mobility of Objects Exhibition aims to bring medieval and early modern historical artefacts to life. The organisers wished to promote the exhibition, whilst catering for the needs of audiences that may not be able to physically attend the exhibition.

The solution

We used WordPress to develop a website with a bespoke theme and features to allow organisers to provide details about exhibitions.

The impact

The website lets the user manage the objects, and visitors leave feedback, making it easier for them to collect and respond to feedback.

The team at the Informatics Centre have worked with us every step of the way to design an interactive website for our Arts and Humanities Research Council Funded project and exhibitions 'The Mobility of Objects Across Boundaries 1000-1700'. They really helped shape the project's focus and suggested innovative ideas and tools to help us reach as wide a public audience as possible.
